About the role Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Applications and based onsite at our corporate office in Homebush West, you will manage the Commercial Applications pillar. Leading a team, you will advise, deliver, and support solutions for Harvey Norman Commercial franchises and affiliates in Australia and New Zealand, utilising Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Power Platform. You will have the opportunity to shape and elevate your team, fostering emerging capabilities. Your responsibilities include ensuring the successful delivery of IT services, achieving desired outcomes, and maintaining high satisfaction levels among commercial franchisees and affiliates. Responsibilities include; Oversee the project pipeline, direct major initiatives, and implement solutions to meet current and future needs of commercial franchisees. Identify improvement opportunities, set strategic direction, and develop practical roadmaps with business and technical stakeholders. Manage and mentor leads and their teams, enhancing their capacity through effective coaching and development. Collaborate with vendors, project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align solutions with business objectives and technical reference architectures. Lead technical discovery activities, validate requirements, and ensure alignment with best practices and architectural principles. Understand business needs, design solutions that reduce complexity, and utilise out of the box functionality where possible. Plan, organise, and guide solutions to completion, coordinating activities, resources, and stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. Maintain effective processes and procedures that align with commercial business objectives. Serve as the primary contact for non-BAU matters, investigating and diagnosing complex hardware, software, and network systems. Monitor and report progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management, and develop strategies to minimise business disruptions. Partner with teams to understand application lifecycle challenges. Identify bottlenecks and weaknesses, and propose solutions to optimise security, performance, and scalability. Develop and manage KPIs to measure solutions and operations against agreed commitments and service levels. Establish and maintain best practice governance by developing and managing a comprehensive framework. Identify processes and lead the development and ongoing management of a governance framework to identify gaps and risks and provide strategic advice on mitigation and response. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and best practices guidelines. About you You will have extensive experience in developing and delivering solutions within the Microsoft ERP space, particularly implementations or upgrades of Microsoft BC/CE. Additionally, you will be skilled in leading and mentoring technology teams. A tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology ore a related discipline will be highly regarded. You will also have: Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Hands on experience and leadership in delivery lifecycles, methodologies, and frameworks. Analytical mindset and the ability the maximise business benefit of ERP/CRM and ancillary systems. Proven experience in providing consulting and subject matter expertise, along with a strong ability to prioritise and manage competing demands. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a large fast-paced, and complex environment. Knowledge of best practices, automation, and tools to speed up the delivery of solutions. Ability to address and prioritise application issues, and an understanding of the technologies supporting the application. Experience of ITSM processes, including driving service initiatives.
