Join our southern macadamia orchards team in Beerwah, Queensland, as a Farm Hand. This exciting role involves supporting operational and maintenance activities for macadamia crops. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors, follow directions, and prioritise safety. Key Responsibilities: Reporting to the Orchard Supervisor you will be responsible to: Contribute to a positive and productive working environment by being respectful, precise, diligent, honest and ethical. Undertake operational activities including: Spraying (if chemical certificate held); Pruning, harvesting, fertilising, slashing and mulching; Farm maintenance and drainage; Operate and maintain plant and equipment maintenance. Maintain records for operational inputs, maintenance, chemical spraying, fertilising, irrigating, payroll and cost allocation timesheets, and safety. Contribute to the development and improvement of farming systems and safety processes. To be successful, you will: Have previous experience working on a farming operation (preferred but not essential) Hold a current driver’s licence (C class) Be team-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive with strong written and oral communication skills Have the ability to operate machinery, plant and equipment (or the ability to develop these skills) Applicants with a chemical certificate, forklift HRW licence, HR class licence, senior first aid certificate, or relevant trade certificate will be highly regarded.
