People and Workplace Strategy (PWS) are seeking applications from highly motived and experienced individuals to permanently fill the position of Human Resources (HR) Advisor (ASO6). The HR Advisor will play a frontline role in building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders. The successful applicant will undertake a range of activities, including researching and preparing advice and correspondence in relation to HR queries, managing the PWS inbox (and the Injury Management inbox as required); reviewing and processing both intention to advertise forms and fixed term contract requests in accordance with relevant legislation, process and procedure. The HR Advisor will also assist in managing the Whole of Government Secure Work process compile employment chronologies for Business Partner and Injury Management matters including but not limited to Ministerial responses, Human Rights Commission responses, Freedom of Information requests and Administrative Review Tribunal matters. The successful, applicant will possess excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills necessary to build rapport with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders, in addition to demonstrating strong attention to detail and initiative qualities. Notes: An order of merit will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months.
