You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided. As a Perioperative Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout your responsibilities will include: Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation Deliver evidence-based nursing care Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team Ensure patient and staff safety Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and AINs to deliver patient care (RN only) Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology About the Company The hospital is a private not-for-profit 98 bed hospital. It offers a range of specialties including ENT Surgery, general medicine, neurosurgery, opthalmology, orthopaedic surgery, paediatric surgery and plastic & reconstructive surgery. The hospital is equipped with 8 operating theatres, a dedicated paediatric day stay unit and a level 2 critical care unit.
