Due to continued growth within the business, an opportunity has arisen for a motivated Asset Maintenance Engineer to join our Team on a Full-time basis.
As part of the Asset Management Team the Asset Maintenance Engineer is the technical expert responsible for assessing the risks and reliability of company owned assets throughout the operation. Supporting the objective of life cycle asset management and defect elimination the role will focus on fault finding and troubleshooting company owned assets to improve operational availability and reduce unplanned asset downtime.
Role Accountabilities include:
* Experience in a complex and high tempo operational/maintenance environment with experience in asset lifecycle cost and risk modelling, innovation and asset maintenance problem solving
* Experience in working within a matrix style organisation
* Experience preferred in analytical maintenance or reliability-based techniques.
* Experience in collaborating and working in a team environment with a focus on managing asset risk and activity priorities
* Demonstrated background in working closely with maintenance technicians in a workshop environment
* Demonstrated commitment to OH&S and sustainability outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
* 5+ years in a similar or equivalent role.
* A tertiary qualification in Engineering or other appropriate tertiary qualification and relevant industry experience in maintenance engineering.
* Full work rights in Australia
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Experience in Microsoft Office and Database Management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills including experience in the preparation of written business cases, analytical reports and briefings for use at a senior level
