The Commercial Management Branch delivers capital works and infrastructure projects across the ACT Government portfolios, undertaking tendering, risk management, contract management and project management activities. Their remit includes education facilities, municipal buildings, cultural facilities, arts, public parks and sporting venues. The Commercial Infrastructure branch also develops and implements innovative procurement and construction techniques for new approaches to project delivery. This role is responsible for providing support to the Commercial Infrastructure Branch in meeting its project delivery requirements to one or more partner directorate portfolios. Working closely, under supervision, with the Branch’s Project Managers and/or Supervising Director this role will ensure timely and quality input into project management, procurement and contract management services including administrative and data management tasks. Eligibility/Other Requirements: Must include the mandatory requirements for the Infrastructure Managers/Specialists (IM/S) or Infrastructure Officers (IO). Understanding of public service agency operations, and business processes as related to government initiatives, policies and procedures, including financial management is highly desirable.
