With big plans ahead, we're always on the hunt for new talent to join our global team. We are looking for a Merchandise Planner to join our merchandising team in this newly created role. The role will support our merchandising Director with the newness buy plan, ensuring adherence to open-to-buy (OTB) and buying plan guidelines while considering seasonality, global availability, and the use of lower-impact materials. The role will be responsible for providing weekly and monthly reporting to give the newness team clear visibility over budgets and performance per category Our ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, strong analytical experience and be able to work within a fast paced environment. Being a newly created role, you will work autonomously, having the chance to scope growth across the role, with exposure to international markets and cross-functional team. Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive Newness Buy Plan, factoring in style count, category, average unit cost (AUC), unit depth, and other key metrics. Take ownership of the weekly Newness OTB roll-up, providing guidance on areas that need adjustments to maximize performance. Provide reporting to ensure the Newness team have clarity over budgets & performance by category on a weekly/monthly view/YTD view. Ensure daily data integrity to implement correct strategies that meet financial goals. Pull and analyze data from multiple sources such as Inventory Planner, Excel, and Shopify. Identify areas of risk and opportunity, offering actionable insights and strategies to the team. Build and manage Newness reporting, including Weekly Bestsellers, Trade Data, and Monthly Flash Forwards. Provide analytics for recovery plans on struggling categories. Work collaboratively with teams in the US and Australia, building strong relationships across departments and maintaining open communication channels. Skills/Experience 3 + years Analytical Experience Experience in merchandise planning, buying, or a similar role is highly desirable but not essential Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to collaborate across departments and build strong relationships If you are a natural go-getter, and can work well under pressure to achieve results, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
