South Coast Baptist College is seeking a warm, professional, and friendly individual committed to upholding our College's Christian values. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills with a positive, flexible attitude. Position Requirements: Daily Responsibilities: Clean classrooms, offices, staffrooms, and toilets. Replenish supplies (toilet rolls, hand soap, paper towels). Empty rubbish bins, load dishwashers, and wipe surfaces (windowsills, door handles). Lock rooms, turn off lights, air conditioning/heating after cleaning. Report damage or concerns to the supervisor. Weekly Tasks: Remove spider webs and spot clean walls. Disinfect taps, sinks, doors, and toilet cubicles. Termly Duties: Clean light fittings, ceiling fans, and air vents. Deep clean rubbish bins and door frames. Additional Requirements: Promote Health and Safety and report any incidents. Maintain and care for college equipment. Perform other duties as required. Selection Criteria: Essential: Professional presentation and friendly demeanor. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to stay composed under pressure. Good time management and attention to detail. Flexibility, positivity, and confidentiality. Desirable: Experience in education facilities or cleaning. Knowledge of hygiene and disinfecting practices. Essential Criteria: A personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. Active participation in a church or Christian community, exemplifying Christian beliefs, behaviour, and practices. Acceptance of the College's Statement of Faith. Ability to build cooperative and supportive relationships with the Board, Principal, staff, students, and parents. Commitment to personal best practice. Ensure decisions are impartial, fact-based, and fair. Model appropriate and proper channels of communication. Consistently act in the best interests of the College and its ethos. Adherence to all policies and procedures outlined by SCBC. Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment in line with the College's values and policies.
