As the first point of contact representing the VP, you are required to exercise a great deal of tact and understanding, ensuring confidentiality while maintaining a client-focused approach to resolving matters that arise. Your key responsibilities will be to:Deliver top-tier executive support services to the Vice-Principal (Strategy), enabling the Vice-Principal (Strategy) to fulfil their executive accountabilities in a professional, efficient, and effective manner.Coordinate the VP’s calendar, appointments, travel arrangements, and communications, ensuring optimal time management.Ensure that matters brought to the VP are handled with business acumen and finesse, and are presented in a well-researched professional manner.Navigate enquiries and communications, managing high-level internal and external stakeholder interactions with discretion.Identify the strategic or operational significance of incoming enquiries and correspondence, determining the critical arising actions.Draft and review correspondence, format reports and other documentation, and coordinate briefing notes on specific issues.Manage work area requests within systems on behalf of the VP (e.g., leave requests in Workday and expenses in Concur), and other ad-hoc tasks.About youExecutive assistant experience in a similar role within a large and complex organisation.Experience managing a busy diary and providing travel organisation.Is intuitive and demonstrates foresight in anticipating the needs and requirements of the executive on a daily basis.Collaborative and has proven experience in building effective working relationships with key stakeholders.Excellent communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaYou must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to apply.
