About the role We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic professional Senior Conveyancer to join our growing property developments team on a part-time, job share basis (22.5hrs). If you’re looking to work close to home within a great culture, we would love to hear from you. Experience is essential in subdivisions and developments, and preferred in other facets of conveyancing including retail, residential, commercial and industrial, owners’ corporations and mortgages. You do not have to be a licensed conveyancer, but it is essential you have previous experience. Position Responsibilities Some of your duties will include, but not limited to;
Managing client relationships with confidence
Liaising with professionals such as agents, conveyancers, solicitors and financial instructions
Preparation of contracts for sale of land and other documents
Reviewing contracts for prospective purchasers
Obtaining relevant searches and certificates
Administration as required including phone calls, emails, invoicing
Assisting with process improvements
Assisting with other firm-related tasks as necessary
Attributes Skills and experience we'd love... To secure this exceptional opportunity you will have previous experience as a Senior Conveyancer. You will be proactive, organized and have exceptional attention to detail. You will also demonstrate;
Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and meet multiple conflicting priorities and deadlines
Competent in the end to end conveyancing process including file management, drafting documents, correspondence and searches
Clear understanding of Victorian property law essential
Ability to develop rapport with others quickly and maintain positive relationships
Enthusiastic and dedicated approach showing initiative and willingness to learn
Ability to problem solve and be adaptable
Be ambitious and self-motivated with the ability to work in a team or autonomously
Experience with LEAP, PEXA & Office 365 are essential, PlanIT preferred
Available to work onsite within the office, this is not a remote position
