Salary: Stream C Award BT3: $91,669.99 package per annum + Super + $5k Attraction allowance + overtime + on-call allowances
Central Highlands Regional Council is currently looking for a trade qualified plumber to join the dynamic network team based in Emerald.
In this role you will use your existing trade skills and knowledge to lead a small team to proactively maintain Council’s water and wastewater infrastructure to minimise interruptions to critical services across the Central Highlands region.
Based in Emerald you will support the networks team by:
* Leading and developing a small team whilst coordinating daily plumbing activities for planned and responsive maintenance
* Work with the Supervisor Networks to assist in the preparation of upcoming works
* Undertake regular inspection of water and wastewater systems and correct defects
* Responding to public enquiries in relation to plumbing related issues
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:
* Significant field experience in a similar or related leadership role
* Sound knowledge of water and wastewater network management, planned and responsive maintenance activities
* A proactive and results drive approach to tasks
* QBCC Plumbers and Drainers licence
* Current Queensland Manual Drivers licence
* General Construction White Card

This position will also require you to be part of an on call roster with applicable allowances and overtime rates. The salary package comprises of base salary $86,699.99 + $5K attraction allowance and a $5k retention payment upon successful completion of probation.
