Our Vision is to be the leading luxury wine distributor in Australia by consistently delivering successful and sustainable results for our partners through providing best in class service and representation.About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Credit Control Manager who will be responsible for the end-to-end credit control management for House of Fine Wine customers nationally, across both national retail and independent trade. You will have responsibility for collections, reconciliation of accounts, minimising overdue balances and ensuring credit risks / bad debts are kept to a minimum. This will be achieved by building trusted relationships with our customers and applying appropriate control measures. This role supports the Sales and Customer Service departments and is instrumental in ensuring excellent customer service is maintained with minimal supply interruptions, resulting from aged debt issues.Key Accountabilities include:Pursue payments for outstanding debts by telephone and email to ensure timely and effective debt collection.Perform credit and trade reference checks and new account creations.Management of bad debts and debt referrals where required.Credit collection reporting.Monitor and release of customer held orders within required timeframes.Assist with customer credit queries.Form effective relationships and work closely with sales team members to optimise collection outcomes with customers.Partner Sales team in customer dispute resolution issues relating to credit.Develop strong customer relationships with key customers ensuring HoFW remains a preferred partner to customers through excellent service.Your Experience and SkillsProven experience working in a similar role (5+ years).FMCG (wine/drinks industry preferable as understanding of liquor retail landscape could be an advantage).Experience of dealing with National Customers and wholesalers e.g. ALM, Endeavour Group, Coles etc. would also be an advantage.Be familiar with best practice processes and controls for effective credit management.Customer Service focused with excellent relationship building skills.Candidate should be able to demonstrate managerial courage with decision making.Ability to work independently, highly self-motivated and well organised.Ability to balance priorities and demonstrate solutions-focused approach to problem solving.Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and proven negotiating skills.Experience of different systems (project experience desirable).Strong numeracy skills with high level of accuracy required.If you’re looking to join an exciting industry in a pivotal role that will keep you positively challenged, then please get in contact today by clicking “APPLY NOW”.
