Our graduate nurses are encouraged to develop both clinically and professionally while gaining exposure to a variety of clinical specialties and healthcare environments.

At Healthscope, we’ve got you!
We have Full time or Part time (minimum 0.8 FTE) permanent roles available, nation-wide and 4 core streams – General, Perioperative, Mental Health and Maternity.
We offer a 12-month program plus additional Consolidation Year to further support your transition to practice and develop your clinical skills and knowledge.

What does the Recruitment and Onboarding process look like?
We have a simple 3 stage process where you will get a chance to get to know us as much as we will get to know you.
Step 1 - Online application: Open 12 August 2023 and close 12 September 2023 at 11:59pm AEST.
Step 2 - Interviews: Late September-October 2023
•Firstly, complete a video interview in your slippers at a tie that suits you!
•Secondly, conduct a Zoom or face to face behavioural interview and get an opportunity to meet our team based at the hospital you’re most interested in joining. Come prepared with your questions as we want you to get to know us and be confident you are making the right choice in joining our team.
•Successful candidates will be offered a role shortly after this point.
Step 3 - Pre-Start Checks and Onboarding : November 2023
•Complete the pre-employment checks process (note: in order to commence as a Graduate, you must have your AHPRA registration.)
•Send through all of your required information via our online system.
• Onboarding experience & first day at the hospital : In February 2024 join us in person for two days to meet leaders and Graduates, explore more of what Healthscope has to offer, and get fully prepared for your first day on site.
