As the Caterpillar Sales Manager in Sydney, you will be responsible for leading and driving the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue & profit targets, whilst fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Your expertise will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and strengthening our market position.
You will report directly to the National Sales Manager and collaborate with divisional managers within the branch to ensure the seamless operation of the business.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue goals.Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximise their potential and meet performance targets.Identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and maintain a strong network of industry contacts.Oversee the sales process, from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and after-sales support.Analyse sales data and market trends to make data-driven decisions and identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure the alignment of sales efforts with marketing initiatives and product offerings.Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and organise training sessions to enhance the team's skills and knowledge.Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.Qualifications / ExperienceProven experience in sales management within the equipment sales and/or rental industry or related field.Strong leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating successful sales teams.Can do attitude and demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets to drive business growth.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.A customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.Knowledge of the Sydney and greater Sydney market and key industry players is a plus.At United, we encourage a flexible and healthy work-life balance for all our employees.
