The Role
Exciting opportunity for an Aged Care Quality Coordinator to join a successful team at a large Residential Aged Care Facility in the Bundaberg region, QLD. You’ll work closely with the Facility Manager and have support from the Quality Manager to ensure the facility is providing excellence in aged care standards.
Responsibilities include
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to uphold and enhance quality throughout the organisation
* Support quality and clinical activities
* Quality audits, create, implement, and assess continuous improvement processes
* Participate in investigations and support prompt conflict resolution
* Offer support to managers and staff on quality-related policies and procedures
Key Candidate Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Nursing with AHPRA Registration
* At least five (5) years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
* Current drivers licence
* Strong knowledge of/experience with the Aged Care accreditation process
* Demonstrated experience with aged care quality systems and in continuous improvement and auditing
* Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, care governance, and clinical standards in aged care
* Previous experience working within a Residential Aged Care setting in a similar role
