About the role
We are currently recruiting Network Data Maintenance Officers to join our Network Data Maintenance team. These roles can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint.
The Network Data Maintenance Officer is responsible for the timely and accurate maintenance of a variety of Network Asset data in the Asset Management Systems to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Update, monitor and maintain relevant network asset data in Essential Energy’s business systems, using either automated or manual data transfer tools ensuring accuracy and completion in a timely manner.
2. Provide accurate translation of design construction drawings, outlining changes to the network, and the subsequent update of business systems.
3. Undertake cross-systems verification work as required by the role to ensure all systems sharing asset data are in alignment following the updates of asset data.
4. Process and analyse small and large datasets ensuring cross system data integrity.
About You
As a Network Data Maintenance Officer, you will bring a wealth of experience to manage asset information accurately and efficiently. Your expertise lies in precise data entry, cross-system verification, and a solid understanding of the energy and distribution environment.
Whether working independently or collaboratively, you thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage diverse workloads. Proficient in relevant business systems, including WACS & Smallworld and are committed to maintaining the integrity of our network data.
Required Qualifications
5. Certificate III in Business with preferred electives in Information Technology or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
Desirable
6. Qualification in Spatial Information Services.
7. Editing experienced in WACS and Smallworld.
8. Sound knowledge of Essential Energy’s Network Assets and associated Business Processes pertaining to asset data.
