About the role
Are you looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our customers? We’re seeking a Cleaning and Trolley Collection Team Member to play a crucial role in ensuring our stores provide a positive shopping experience. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to learn and a great attitude.
Key responsibilities
* Working through a checklist of cleaning tasks throughout the store.
* Using various equipment and cleaning products to sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and buff floors throughout the store, team rooms, toilets, and offices.
* Cleaning, dusting, wiping, and scrubbing shelving, refrigeration rooms, industrial ovens and drains.
* Collecting trolleys from in and around the store and store carpark – whatever the weather.
About you and your skills
* Working both indoors and outdoors, you’ll be trusted to work autonomously and in a group setting
* A commitment to providing great customer experiences by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
* A keen eye for detail and cleanliness
* A passion for working safely and abide by Coles Safe work practices
* The ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and demonstrate a solid work ethic
* To be active and physically fit, you’ll be constantly on the go and lifting up to 17kgs
* Availability for a wide variety of shifts between 5am-11pm, 7 days per week
