The Inventory Management Specialist will provide efficient and effective inventory and property analysis, coordination, and management of activities pertaining to inventory, accountable property, asset management, and for coordination with the other applicable OASIS business areas who are reliant on inventory and data information in the site SAP management system. This Specialist will monitor and analyze the material masters, and monitor control and analyze warehouse inventory levels, be responsible for logistics required system data pertaining to operations and maintenance of equipment, and for coordination, guidance, and outreach to all personnel who require inventory, property and material management services.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in the annual Accountable Property AuditPerform inventory management function in all stores such as creation of material and equipment master records in SAPAssist the Inventory Management Team to execute tasks associated with delivering optimum inventory management functionsPerform a range of inventory transactions within a Logistics Management System (SAP)Prepare documentation for stocktaking activities commensurate with assigned scope of duties.Perform physical warehouse inventory stock takes and certify results and reconcile results.Conduct inventory analysis and investigation into reported discrepancies in stock levels, transactions and serial numbers.Assist personnel on the use of logistics data inquiry and retrieval systemsDemonstrate an attitude reflective of company valuesEnsure compliance with all environmental health and safety requirementsQUALIFICATIONS SAP MM and MRP experienceVocational and / or tertiary qualifications in Logistics or Business streams.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.Six Sigma / Process development knowledge and training.Degree in Data Analytics1 to 3 years – in a similar role performing Inventory ManagementThe position is on feet and constant kneeling and carrying things; the ability to lift items up to 10 kgs may be required.STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS At least 18 years of age.Able to fluently read, write and speak EnglishAustralian or US citizenEHS REQUIREMENT All Amentum personnel are responsible for understanding and complying with all site environmental, health and safety requirements.
