Manager Group Regulatory ChangeSee yourself in our team:The Group Regulatory Change & Advocacy Chapter is responsible for ensuring the CBA Group achieves compliance with new or amended financial services laws in order to safeguard our customers and preserve public trust.The role of the Manager will include gaining a detailed understanding of the regulatory change, preparing a detailed assessment of the regulatory change including an interpretation of the new/amended requirements, determining the impact of the changes to CBA, supporting identification and appointment of the Regulatory Change Sponsor, drafting obligations and working in partnership with BU/SUs to ensure that compliance arrangements are in place prior to the legislation effective date.A key responsibility for this role includes:You will be expected to perform the following tasks in a manner consistent with CBA's Values and People Capabilities:Monitoring the pipeline for early identification of key regulatory reforms.Providing Group-wide Guidance on Implementation of Regulatory Changes.Preparing/Drafting regulatory change analysis, including interpretations of requirements in consultation with the impacted SMEs.Communicating regulatory change requirements and timeframes to the impacted Line of stakeholders.Record and maintain obligations data in the Group's obligations register.Communicate changes of obligations data to impacted Business Profile Owners and Line 2 stakeholders.Remediation of obligations as required.Coordinating & reviewing regulatory change inputs to the ELT NFRC and Board Regulatory, Policy and Breach Report, including Line 2 view.We're interested in hearing from people who have:Strong operational risk management / assurance / compliance experience in the banking or financial services industry.Technical knowledge of and the ability to transform complex legislation into simple, easy to understand language.Sound capability to analyse data and transform into key insight.Proven experience in compiling, preparation and writing of reports to senior management and stakeholders.Strong written and oral communication skills with demonstrated capability in engaging with and managing stakeholders, including an ability to work with resistance.Strong teamwork focus with excellence in driving results and delivering customer satisfaction.Legal background desirable.If you are an experienced professional with a desire to take on complex work/projects then we would love to hear from you!Working at CommBankAt CommBank, we support our people with the flexibility to balance where work is done with at least half their time each month connecting in office.
