THE ROLE
The Principal Adviser works closely with the Deputy CEO, providing high-level strategic and operational support in responding to challenges and opportunities facing the Housing portfolio.
The successful applicant will operate in a complex and dynamic environment, requiring capacity to exercise sound judgement, liaise effectively with senior executives and build relationships with key people across the department and relevant stakeholders for Homes Victoria more broadly. They will need to be resilient, able to work in a fast-paced environment, display a ‘can-do' attitude, have a deep commitment to values-based leadership and enjoy working in a team environment.

Accountabilities Include
* Provide senior advisory and executive support to the Deputy CEO on strategic policy and operational issues.
* Coordinate and manage timely delivery of divisional submissions, briefings and responses to corporate and government requirements to a high standard of quality.
* Manage and support ministerial, parliamentary, departmental divisional executive functions and processes.
