Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for contribute to the developing scopes for work assignments, contributing to the Design Process, coordination of and participating in the Project Control and Procurement / Contract process, ensuring relevant design information is provided to the construction team, assisting with activities associated with pre-commissioning, commissioning, handover and rectification, and supporting and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
You will possess:
* 5+ years of managing the engineering aspects of capital projects in heavy industry and associated aspects including HSEC, employee relations, and contractors.
* Experience in the pre-authorisation development and delivery of discipline engineering and project deliverables.
* Tendering, negotiating and administration of major equipment supply and construction contracts.
* Contract commercial and technical document preparation
* Project estimating and planning preparation
* High competence in performance in native engineering discipline
* Ability to work effectively in cross functional groups and thrive in a team environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills, demonstrating objective and critical thinking.
