This workshop is part of the broader emergency preparedness, response, and recovery programs of Australian Red Cross.The opportunityBecoming a Pillowcase Workshop Facilitator means you would be part of a network of volunteers who run one-hour sessions in schools where children learn about disaster preparedness through an interactive activity centred around decorating a pillowcase.The impactEmergencies can happen at any time. They can be as large as a flood or fire, or as personal as a death in the family. Research shows that better emergency preparation makes it easier for individuals, families, and the community to recover.
