Your part in our Blue Care team
Operating at a state-wide level, our Facilities & Maintenance team supports the delivery of UnitingCare Queensland services through proactively managing and maintaining the extensive property portfolios in South East Queensland (SEQ), Rural and Regional Queensland (R&R) and Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS).
Joining the team in the Maintenance and Grounds Officer role, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously and connect with colleagues, residents and contractors at a designated BlueCare local site whilst being supported by teams in the region and across the state.
A day in the role will see you balancing general gardening duties and lawn care, maintenance of plant and equipment, undertake minor property work and importantly, contribute to the safe and pleasing environment for our aged care residents, staff and visitors.
What makes a difference for us?
1. Experience in the maintenance building, plant, equipment gardening or landscape or the ability to acquire these skills.
2. Demonstrated communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
