About the role Reporting to the Managing Director, the Finance Manager/Financial Controller will be responsible for leading all tasks relating to finance, transactional accounts and compliance to meet legislative requirements and contribute to the achievement of the Group's strategic objectives.

The Finance Manager/Financial Controller is responsible for:Ensuring financial operations - including systems, processes and procedures - operate effectively and efficiently and deliver quality servicesFacilitating delivery of transactional accounting services and activities across the GroupOverseeing the management of cashflow, capex and systems delivers quality outputs in line with best-practice industry standardsMaintaining and adhering to the compliance requirements of the businessLeading a team of 3 in fulfilling a range of functions such as monthly management reporting, annual financial reporting and business analysisAbout you The successful candidate will possess:Proven small to medium scale corporate experience in professional management and leading a transactional accounting teamRelevant tertiary qualification in Accounting / Finance / Business Management along with Membership of CA or CPAHigh level skills in financial accounting, financial analysis, monitoring & risk assessmentDemonstrated commercial acumenAbility to provide leadership and professional development to junior staffUnderstanding and appreciation of professional accounting principles and Australian / International Accounting StandardsAbility to work with a diversity of people across all organisational levels and multiple stakeholder groups within a collegiate environmentA commitment to the vision of this Company by demonstrating values driven management practices as well as the personal modelling of these values and principles to all staffThis is a highly sought after chance to grow within a local business where you can share your knowledge with the group across NSW.
