About the New Graduate Nurse Program The IPN New Graduate Nurse Program is designed to provide recently graduated nurses with personalised support, hands-on clinical experience, and professional development opportunities to build your knowledge, competence, and confidence in the breadth of general practice nursing. Key features of our Program include: A 12-month program ensuring exposure to, and experience in, the broad spectrum of practice nurse responsibilities, including but not limited to childhood and adult immunisations, triage and emergency management, health prevention and chronic disease management, patient education and self-management support, wound management, diagnostic and clinical procedures. An assigned on-site preceptor who will teach, train, coach, and guide you for the first three months whilst receiving ongoing support from our experienced local and state-based nursing teams. A comprehensive self-directed workbook to guide and reinforce your learning. Paid study leave to support you in planning and reviewing your learning objectives, attending training sessions, and joining our graduate nurse network meetings. Facilitated graduate nurse networking opportunities. An online forum connecting you to your peers for support and shared learning. A certificate of achievement on successful completion of the Program. Do you have the qualities we are looking for? Graduate Certificate from a recognised University Nursing Program. Current AHPRA Nurse registration - Registered Nurse (Division 1). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A caring, compassionate, and collaborative approach to patient care. Strong ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and manage your time. Availability to work at least 3 days a week, with full-time positions also available.
