Your tasks
1. Support and ensure that the implementation of the Site Quality System in accordance to the Voith Company Quality Policy and contractual requirements.
2. Support and implement a continuous improvement system making sure that Root Cause Analysis and lessons learned are properly initiated and maintained at site.
3. Close cooperation and coordination of all quality activities with the site supervisors and contractors.
4. Work closely with the site installation team to ensure that work is completed safely, in accordance with the quality standards, customer requirements, schedule, and budget.
5. Ensure that all QA/QC inspections and tests are performed in accordance with the quality plan: participate in inspections according to the Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), secure the appropriate resources and coordinate tests performed by specialized service providers (e.g., non-destructive examiners (e.g., NDT)).
6. Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control processes, inspection results, and corrective actions taken.
7. Ensure qualification of welders and inspectors and maintain related documentation.
8. Participate in site nonconformance and technical change requests, drive and track completion of QA corrective actions in an efficient and timely manner.
9. Drive completion and completeness of data books, control, and archive site quality documentation.
10. Ensure calibration of measurement tools and track compliance.
11. Conduct site audits and inspections.
12. Support the site team with QA processes, short- and medium-term work planning, engineering / installation procedures and any other field supervision tasks.
13. Close cooperation with VH Offshore team including Design and Quality Engineering.
Your profile
14. University degree in QA/QC or equivalent industry experience.
15. Ability to drive project success with a focus on HSE, quality, schedule, and budget.
16. Previous demonstrated experience in quality for large hydro power projects or in similar industries. Construction and/or E&M experience is required. Experience in the Australian market is desirable.
17. Proficient technical and operational knowledge of QA/QC systems aligned with ISO:1.
18. Collaborative team player with a customer- and people-oriented approach, accountable, and solution-driven.
19. Proactive mindset in anticipating challenges and delivering strategic problem-solving solutions.
20. Fully computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge is desirable.
21. Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English in an international team environment.
Physical requirements
22. Able to pass pre-employment medical, Drug & Alcohol test and Police check.
23. Must be able to stand, walk and climb as necessary.
24. Availability for night shifts.
Site conditions
25. A typical roster of days in, 7 days out.
