ACT Community Services Program Manager AudreyT 2025-03-13T11:54:05+11:00ACT Community Services Program ManagerLooking for a job that helps people 'choose a better life'?Karralika Programs is looking for a Community Services Program Manager to lead our dedicated teams in Deakin, ACT, and surrounding regional areas.This role is a unique opportunity to drive service excellence, enhance clinical governance, and provide strong leadership to multidisciplinary teams.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Leading and managing multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, counsellors, and lived experience mentorsOverseeing program operations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and clinical governance frameworksDriving continuous quality improvement, embedding evidence-based practices, and leading change management initiativesDeveloping and managing partnerships, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen service deliveryRepresenting Karralika Programs in external forums, contributing to strategic planning and policy developmentMonitoring, analysing, and reporting on program performance, ensuring service standards are met and outcomes are achievedProviding after-hours on-call support on a rotating basis, ensuring comprehensive service coverageAbout YouTo qualify, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years in senior clinical roles or managerial experience in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) services.Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:Qualification in Alcohol, Tobacco, Other Drugs (ATOD) and/or related health fieldLeadership and Management qualificationExperience in working therapeutically with adults, children, young people, and familiesClinical case review and incident debrief experienceStrong understanding of best practice AOD treatment services, including trauma-informed and family-inclusive approachesAs our ideal candidate, you will possess strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
Your high emotional intelligence, empathy, and non-judgmental approach will enable you to build positive relationships and lead with integrity.
