Interface Systems Engineer
Location: Northern Suburbs of Melbourne
Duration: 12 Months (possible extension)

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Interface Systems Engineer to join a world leading manufacturing business. You will be working on the early stages in the development of a large, state of the art multi-million-dollar manufacturing facility.

Must haves:
1. Experience in interfacing with ERP systems or LIMs systems.
2. Experience in MES systems
Responsible for the technical installation & setup, reliability, performance, and compliance of all interfaces between PCS-MES and the business systems (SAP, LIMS, QMS) and all other systems
Key responsibilities include:
3. Accountable for system ownership and compliance of all interface with the PCS-MES Systems.
4. Provide oversight & review of contractors/integrators work during design, construction, commissioning, and validation phases of projects & changes
5. Provide support for budget & resource management to support key business projects.
This role will be the system owner and system administrators, and work in close partnership with I&T to deliver a seamless, integrated, compliant and holistic framework for all interfaces with PCS-MES.
The role will drive technical alignment between the different GxP control system platforms by ensuring system configuration, access, system alarm management and maintenance standards are aligned across multiple platforms including interfaces with the Data Systems, Historian system, and the Manufacturing Control Network. The role is expected to identify gaps in standards and contribute to the modification of existing and new standards, where applicable.

6. Bridge gap between the business systems and manufacturing execution systems
7. Interfacing the SAP and laboratory information management system with people on the floor
8. Creating interface design specifications to deliver software component.
