Job Title: Assistant Director
The Assistant Director reports to the Director of Architecture & Cloud. The Enterprise Architecture team has three staff and is part of the larger Architecture & Cloud team which has around 20 staff.
About the Team:
The Enterprise Architecture section manages the DPS architecture review board, responsible for technology direction and governance to realise business vision, strategy and function for the Parliament.
About the Role:
The successful applicant can expect to work within the Information Systems Division to deliver diverse technologies that support the operation of the Parliamentary Departments, the Australian Parliament House and Parliamentarians offices around Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support technology leadership and governance within the information services division
* Exercise a considerable degree of independence and practice sound decision making and judgement
* Engage in complex problem solving and issues management
* Develop solution strategies to meet business requirements
Requirements:
* TOGAF certification and/or relevant tertiary qualifications
* Experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture or working within Parliament
* High level verbal and written communication skills
* Experience in IT roles, including systems architecture, software development, or IT project management
* Certifications in TOGAF 9 - preferred; Other: ITIL Master, AWS Solutions Architecture – an advantage
* Qualification/Degree in information technology, computer science, business or related field – an advantage

Salary: Estimated $120,000 - $150,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
