About the role We have a new opportunity for x03 Maintenance Officers to join our Hetti Perkins Home for the Aged facility located in Alice Springs, NT. These busy and rewarding roles are offered on a permanent, full-time basis of 76 hours per fortnight Monday to Friday, hourly rate from $30.44 gross base penalties super. Commencing October 2024 with opportunities up to 4 years. The Maintenance Officer undertakes a range of generalist handy person duties to keep our facilities in the best condition by doing various odd jobs as directed by the Operations Manager. You will be well-organized with general repair skills. As the Maintenance Officer, you will have a keen eye for detail, you will be physically fit and able to attend to repair tasks at the interior or exterior of the facility to ensure the residents in our care have items attended to promptly. This opportunity will suit a proactive person who enjoys working independently. You will be a literal thinker and able to problem solve. In addition, you will enjoy working amongst our elderly residents and respectful that your workplace is their home.
