The Opportunity We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to join our sales team based in SEQ. Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, particularly in the SME segment, and developing strategic partnerships to achieve revenue targets and company objectives. Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the infrastructure, manufacturing, power, and petrochemical industries. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive market expansion. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, accurate quotes, and effective closing techniques. Track and analyse sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Demonstrate a commitment to excellence, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions. About You: Proven experience in business development, relationship management, and negotiation roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, analyse market trends, and develop actionable plans. Proficiency in ERP software for pipeline management and reporting. Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with a sales CRM. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
