Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Technician

In this role, you will lead a technical team in carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance activities, repairing and maintaining the machinery that keeps Amazon running. The team works together to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment across our global network.

Key Responsibilities:
">
* Safety Ambassador: Act as an ambassador for safety within the team and promote safe working practices across the site.
* Maintenance Programs: Deliver and maintain Preventive Maintenance programs, building compliance programs, including facility and contractor management.
* Team Leadership: Supervise and lead Maintenance Technicians by motivating, providing guidance and directions to help them achieve their goals.
* Purchase Orders: Manage maintenance related purchase orders to maximise smooth facility operation and control of critical spare and store inventory.
* Equipment Installation and Troubleshooting: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all FC systems including power distribution, automated material handling equipment, conveyance, and all other operational equipment.
* Relationship Building: Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organisation, including regular attendance to site leadership meetings and steering committees.

A Day in the Life:
">
You'll be leading a team to make sure everyone has the equipment they need and that it's running properly. This involves monitoring processes so that regulations and policies are followed and ensuring that preventative maintenance is carried out to increase equipment uptime.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
">
* Certificate III in Electrotechnology /Cert III Mechanical Engineering (Fitter/Turner) with valid Electrical Mechanic/ Electrical Fitter licence.
* Experience in industrial maintenance, FMCG, manufacturing and/or logistics.
* Leadership experience in supervising multi-trade teams in a fast paced industrial manufacturing/distribution center environment.
* Experience in mentoring and developing technicians.
* Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.
* Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
* Experience in contractor management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, preventative maintenance procedures, blueprint and schematic reading, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs, work order management.
* Experience of multi-contractor management.
* Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements.
* Facility management.
