Responsibilities
This position is that of an Industrial Specialist assigned to the Surface Weapons Technical Representative (TECHREP), Tucson, AZ, but physically located at the TechRep Detachment, Redstone Arsenal, in Huntsville, AL. This position provides direct support to Program Executive Office/Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO/IWS) and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) for development, production and sustainment of the STANDARD Missile (SM) family of weapons. Requires direct interface with Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) for program level oversight of operational surveillance and acceptance activities. Technical responsibilities include working directly with the prime contractor on all matters pertaining to All Up Round (AUR) development, integration and testing of SM-3 and SM-6 missiles programs. Duties may include the following:
1. Provide technical support for Navy and MDA missile production operations.
2. Interface with program and engineering management to assess overall contractor performance.
3. Report contractor performance relative to schedule and delivery milestones.
4. Conduct technical evaluation and assessment of AUR integration operations.
5. Facilitate exchange of technical communications between prime contractor and government stakeholders.
6. Review quality deficiency notices and notices of escape to determine production and/or sustainment product applicability.
7. Perform First Article Inspections of forward and reverse flow production operation changes.
8. Review test instructions and witness acceptance test operations.
9. Coordinate assistance of government and contractor activities for maintenance and repair of government furnished equipment and government provided production support equipment.
10. Oversee flight round instrumentation and Flight Termination System certification.
11. Support Integrated Product Team (IPTs) that provide technical assessment and recommendations for program readiness.
12. Conduct other support activities as assigned.

Minimum Salary: 91000
Maximum Salary: 142000
