Full time Delivery Services Branch, eHealth Queensland is leading a program of work to modernise the Queensland Health Patient Administration System (PAS) across the state, including all 16 Hospital and Health Services (HHSs). The program is in the readiness phase focused on detailed planning, including the development of the program business case and associated implementation planning considerations. This exciting, multi-year, program of work will enhance patient engagement and access to services and support modern healthcare delivery for all Queenslanders. The PAS Readiness Program requires a Project Officer to assist in the successful delivery of a large scale, complex Information and Communication Technology (ICT) program. The role will provide comprehensive project support, including but not limited to minute-taking, governance, secretariat duties and managing correspondence processes. This role ensures the successful completion of Information Management and ICT projects within agreed performance criteria to enable enhanced service delivery. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communications, and fostering relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms, and management of expectations. Further duties include: Monitoring and tracking program/project deliverables. Coordinating program/project reporting activities for reporting cycles. Supporting the development and management of program/project information management templates/artefacts in alignment with the approved program/project delivery methodology. Supporting the coordination of program/project quality assurance activities i.e., supporting development and management of risk/issues management practices, financial management practices, change control practices, security practices, etc. Supporting the use of program and project methods and tools. Supporting governance processes including performing secretariat work across the program as directed by the program leadership team. Are you right for this role? To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills and an ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities. Experience in an IM/ICT project environment, including scheduling, risk management, reporting and budgeting, and an ability to coordinate the delivery of work packages. You will have knowledge of appropriate project management methodologies and ability to provide advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, with experience in, or the ability to assist with the compilation of program/project information, maintenance of program/project files and the preparation and presentation of management reports. The preferred candidate will have knowledge of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools (preferably PRINCE2).
