Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Overseeing and carrying out service work for irrigation systems and pumps, including diagnosing and repairing farm systems, pipelines, pumps, pump stations, automation controllers, valves and filters. Working alongside the Project Manager and Procurement Officer to ensure works are properly resourced with sufficient staff, tools, materials and machinery to enable works to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Liaising with staff and customers in respect of onsite works, work schedules, troubleshooting options and proposed solutions. Delegating, leading and supervising field crew on site to ensure efficient and accurate completion of works. Reading, understanding and implementing irrigation plans and designs. Ensuring work sites meet all relevant WHS, quality and risk management standards and all applicable WHS and quality management paperwork is completed. Modelling safe work practices for all staff, contractors, suppliers, and visitors. Maintaining accurate records for completed jobs. Providing excellent customer service and maintaining and developing positive relationships with customers, contractors and suppliers. To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate previous irrigation industry (or closely related) experience, in particular, experience with pump and filter stations.
