It is the long-term project that is progressing Perth's proposed new, world-class port facility in Kwinana, which will unlock Western Australia's economic growth, allow for the evolution of Fremantle, and deliver local jobs and opportunities in our southern suburbs.Westport is in an exciting phase, growing a values-based and outcomes-focussed cross-government team to deliver this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.We are looking for the following talented and motivated individuals to join our Communications and Stakeholder Engagement team:Level 4 Communications OfficerLevel 5 Engagement OfficerAs a Communications Officer (Level 4), you will be responsible for coordinating Program information and assisting in the development of various communications activities.You will also:Develop presentations, e-newsletters, website material and other publications.Source information and prepare content to assist with responding to external enquiries.Assist in managing Westport's online and web presence.Assist with maintaining data records in the customer relationship management system.Build and maintain positive working relationships with the Department of Transport's Communications team, and key staff from relevant State and local government agencies.Contribute to the development and implementation of communications strategies for the Westport Project.Represent Westport at stakeholder forums and community events, some of which may be outside of normal work hours.Provide support to the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement team as required.As an Engagement Officer (Level 5), you will be responsible to the Manager, Communications and Community Engagement for developing, implementing and overseeing communication and stakeholder engagement campaigns for Westport projects during the planning phase.
