About the School
St Peter's Catholic College, Tuggerah is a Catholic systemic secondary co-educational school which aims to provide an education which integrates the secular and the sacred for Years 7-12 girls and boys in the Tuggerah district of the Central Coast. St Peter's is part of an educational community which includes home, parish, local community and society. Specific Criteria
* Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School
* Knowledge and demonstrated experience in teaching HSIE curriculum for Stages 4,5 and 6.
* Capacity to contribute to the school’s Continuous Improvement Cycle and is committed to student achievement
* Proven ability to apply sound pedagogical practices to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the needs of all learners
* Skilled in analysing and reflecting on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students;
* Highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices
* Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.
* Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning

New position on COVID-19 vaccinations
Given the current management of risks associated with COVID-19 in the community, and the gradual wind-back of some settings, CSBB has decided to no longer require all staff to be fully vaccinated, effective 19 September 2022. Staff who are not vaccinated will be required to wear masks when working with children at greater risk of serious illness owing to a medical condition and/or physical disability.
