Exciting Opportunity for Program Manager, Reverse Logistics
Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team in an emerging business at Amazon. As a Program Manager, Reverse Logistics, you will play a key role in ensuring our delivery promises to customers are fulfilled on time and that we continuously improve Amazon Australia's delivery experience on behalf of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and improve aspects of returns last-mile transportation carrier management including operations excellence, performance management, escalations, carrier relationship, and contract negotiations.
* Identify, analyze, review, and lead network improvement initiatives for existing and new reverse logistics solutions with cross-functional stakeholders optimizing for capacity, quality, speed, delivery experience, concessions, and cost over the long term.
* Generate and review relevant and actionable transportation metrics, driving improvements and automation over time.
* Prepare and lead operations calls, business reviews, and customer service workshops as needed.
* Coordinate and communicate transportation planning and reverse logistics forecasts with carriers to ensure sufficient capacity.
* Support both daily operational activities and large, complex, and cross-functional projects.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to improve customer and carrier reverse logistics experience.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, business analytics, or other technical discipline.
* 3+ years of professional supply chain and logistics, operations, and/or e-commerce experience.
* Proficiency in advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.).
* Ability to prepare, report, and interpret large sets of data.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong inter-personal and relationship-building skills.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Proficiency in SQL and Tableau.
* 1+ years of experience managing last mile carrier partners in Australia.
