The team is dedicated to enabling equitable access to information; the library is critical to the University's learning and research endeavours.
The library has branches in various locations including Bedford Park, Sturt, the Gus Fraenkel Medical Library, Tonsley and soon at the upcoming City Campus.About the RoleWe have an exciting opening within our Library team as the coordinator (Digital Strategy).
The role is responsible for the planning, implementation, management, evaluation and development of integrated infrastructure, applications, and services to support the library's digital strategy in response to the Teaching, Learning and Research activities of the University.
The successful incumbent will actively lead the Digital Strategy team and staff across the Library to promote ideas and review practices and policies to facilitate digital transformation and new automated ways of working.Key Responsibilities :Leading and managing the Digital Strategy team including planning and allocating staff resources, developing, and mentoring employees to deliver high quality integrated digital infrastructure, applications, and services to support the library's digital strategy.Developing and executing appropriate plans, projects and strategies for digital infrastructure and resources ensuring interoperability with other library and university systems.Coordinating the management of the Library's digital presence and resources including evaluation of resource delivery platforms, library management systems and the integration of online delivery of library services.Collecting and analysing relevant data and information to inform decision making on team and Library deliverables and strategic direction.About YouAs the ideal candidate, you are a passionate leader who can successfully lead an established team of seven librarians and technicians.
You can engage and motivate your team and influence digital strategy within the library as well as the entire University.
