All products and services are built with teachers and schools' needs at the core, ensuring they are innovative, trusted education solutions.About the roleAs an International Business Development Representative, you'll play a key role in growing our SaaS product revenues by connecting with schools and education leaders worldwide. This is a proactive, outbound sales role where you'll identify decision-makers, build relationships, and close deals.You'll be based in our Perth office (with the flexibility to work hybrid), making daily outbound calls to potential clients and new accounts, managing a sales pipeline, demonstrating our software products using a value-based approach, with the aim to close sales and achieve sales targets.Key in this role will be to identify decision-makers, understand their needs, and build relationships to secure new sales and increase revenue.What we're looking for:Sales experience: 2+ years in a sales role, ideally high volume cold-calling or selling technology products. Experience in the tech or education industry is preferred.People skills: You love connecting with people and have a natural ability to build rapport over the phone and email.Driven personality: You're motivated by achieving and exceeding targets, and you're not afraid to persevere when challenges arise. You have the curiosity to want to stay current on market and product knowledge, including competitive positioning.Organised: You will use systems like CRMs to manage your pipeline, record revenue and opportunity forecasting, and keep up-to-date data.Influencing Skills: Ability to adapt your style to different customer types, with persuasive skills to inspire commitment from stakeholders.Professionalism: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional approach.Hunger to learn: Be open to feedback, learning, and refining your skills.Be part of an innovative and purposeful global team passionate about making a difference in education.We want to see you grow and develop and will provide you with the learning opportunities to help you succeed.Hybrid work from our small Perth-based office.
