We are looking for a dynamic Business Improvement Manager for Drafting to join our growing team.

If you're passionate about driving efficiency, implementing best practices, and improving systems in the drafting world, we want you to be a part of our continued success.Key Responsibilities:As the Business Improvement Manager for Drafting, you will play a key role in creating efficient and consistent processes that will improve the quality and accuracy of our design documentation.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Revit Template Mastery: Create and maintain user-friendly Revit templates for both in-house and offshore teams to optimize the production of drawings.Master File Management: Develop and maintain comprehensive manuals to ensure the smooth operation of master drawing files for consistent usage across teams.Family Creation & Maintenance: Lead the creation and upkeep of Revit families, ensuring they align with company standards and facilitate easy drafting.Standard Detailing & Innovation: Establish and implement a comprehensive standard detailing library for easy access and seamless application.BOQ Setup & Implementation: Spearhead the setup and rollout of Revit BOQ creation to ensure accurate and efficient material quantities.Training & Support: Provide ongoing training and support to both the Masters and Production Drafting teams to ensure high-quality output and system proficiency.Collaboration with Consultants & Suppliers: Engage with professional consultants and key suppliers to ensure compliance, accuracy, and alignment with master documentation.Cross-Department Liaison: Work closely with the Operations, Building Managers, and Construction teams to ensure clear, accurate drawings and timely resolution of onsite challenges.Process Innovation: Continuously evaluate and innovate drafting procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all stages of production.Team Management & Oversight: Lead the team of Masters Draftspersons, ensuring adherence to project timelines, workflows, and KPIs, all while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.What We're Looking For:Minimum of 5 Years experience in a similar role with a residential builder.Proven experience as a Draftsperson with in-depth knowledge of Revit and drafting standards.Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and liaise with cross-functional departments.Expertise in developing and maintaining Revit templates, families, and BOQ systems.Ability to create and implement standard detailing libraries and training manuals.A forward-thinking mindset, always looking for opportunities to innovate and improve processes.Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.You will be an important member of a fun team, dedicated to supporting each other while growing, learning, and laughing.
