Your new company
This is an established yet growing international technology business, with a HQ based in Melbourne that is looking to hire an experienced Finance Business Partner due to growth. The company creates software and technology that has a positive impact on numerous people and partners with a wide range of international organisations and governments.
Your new role
In this role as a Finance Business Partner, you'll be essential in aligning financial and business strategies. You'll handle various tasks, including month-end activities, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic projects. You'll also analyse business performance and contribute to global growth efforts. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Prepare monthly financial reports and lead board presentations.
* Support the month-end close process with the finance team.
* Contribute to budgeting and forecasting efforts.
* Enhance data integrity for improved cost analysis.
* Reallocate labour based on business needs.
* Identify and implement process improvements.
* Provide financial analysis for commercial deals and tenders.
* Collaborate on strategic growth initiatives.
* Assist the CFO with various ad hoc financial projects.
What you'll need to succeed
This role would suit you if you:
* Are CA / CPA qualified with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
* Have experience within a physical technology industry, and ideally technology manufacturing or distribution.
* Have strong commercial and financial analysis skills, with a proven track record of business partnering.
* Strong systems knowledge, particularly with NetSuite and NSPB.
* Full working rights for Australia - this role does not support sponsorship.
