THE ROLE
As a Sales Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our sales and tendering process. You will be responsible for creating sales tenders for client presentations, providing pricing structure, generating pricing for client-requested variations, colour selections, and delivering comprehensive pricing support to various departments within the organization. Your ability to maintain positive working relationships, along with your commitment to operational excellence, will be key for this role.
Your day-to-day tasks would involve but not limited to:
* Develop sales tenders for client presentations.
* Explain pricing structures to Sales Consultants as needed.
* Provide pricing for client-requested variations, colour selections, tenders before and after deposit.
* Offer Pricing/Sales/Technical support to Client Services, Drafting, and Sales departments.
* Generate final consolidation of pricing details.
* Maintain positive and constructive working relationships within the business.
* Stay updated on estimating software and techniques.
To be successful for this role you'll need:
* Relevant qualifications in Residential Building OR Diploma in Building Studies OR Diploma in Estimating/Quantity Surveying (desired).
* Minimum of 2 years in a sale estimating role within a residential project home environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong commercial acumen and attention to details
* Experience in producing quotation and pricing of variations.
* Knowledge of contract variations.
* Understanding of the Production/Sales Estimating process throughout construction.
* Familiarity with Framework or similar software.
