We are seeking to recruit a Multipurpose Officer/Plant Operator to join our Services and Operations team in Colac in a Permanent Full-Time capacity.As a member of the Services and Operations team you will carry out allocated tasks on Council's roads, bridges and road reserves, as well as Council-owned and managed land, with an emphasis on safety, quality and budget requirements to meet corporate values and standards.This position is based at the Colac depot.The successful applicant will be required to have:
A Heavy Truck combination licence and be experienced with a good driving historyExperience in road construction/maintenance worksGood written and verbal communication skillsDisplay a positive attitude and respect when dealing with employees and customersOH&S Construction Induction Card/White Card (or willing to obtain prior to commencement)Front end loader and other machinery tickets would be advantageousFor further information regarding the duties and requirements of the role, please refer to the position description.
