About the Role This role is to provide preventative and corrective maintenance to all infrastructure associated with a generating wind farm with a focus on balance of plant (BOP) assets, including; Substations, high voltage reticulation, communication networks, auxiliary systems, site services, roads and civil infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Comply with and perform the preventative and corrective maintenance to all BOP infrastructure of the wind farm. As a member of the multi-skilled Maintenance Team, be actively involved with team management and decision making. As directed by the Site Manager or Works Supervisor, carry out maintenance and operations activities necessary to ensure the facility and ACCIONA's business objectives are met; such as: - HV & Substation inspections and repairs, - Inspections, clearing, maintenance and repairs of civil infrastructure, and - WTG inspections and minor works. Perform HV Switching operations and manoeuvres. Actively participate and comply with all HSE, Quality and Environment policies and procedures in all work planning and work practices and assist in constantly reviewing and improving these standards. Monitoring and supervision of contractors. Assist with improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the total maintenance service through the process of continuous improvement. Ensure that safety, health requirements and cleanliness of facility and equipment are met. Ensure the reporting on a daily basis to ensure the systems are properly recording the work done and work pending, making the weekly and daily planning easier and more accurate through the Operational Excellence program. Accurately entering data into Computer Maintenance Management Systems including Maximo, WMS and HSEQ systems. Collaborate with the Central Support team in performing trials and investigations of technical and procedural improvements. Actively participate in shutdown and project planning as required. Assist in the preparation of work plans/programs, procedures, risk assessments, job instructions, ITP's and participate in actively carrying out the work in conjunction with all other members of the team. Utilise skills acquired through training and experience to take advantage of opportunities that benefit ACCIONA Energia's interest. Continually aim to meet or exceed objectives and performance measures. Participate in a call-in roster basis as the site is a 24/7 operation. Auditing of contractor work to confirm deliverables are at an acceptable standard. Qualifications and experience: Appropriate Trade Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical Disciplines other.Electrical trade must or be able to hold a valid QLD "A Grade" Electrical License (beneficial).Minimum 3 to 5 years post trade qualifications (desirable).Basic computer skills and familiar with the Microsoft Office suite.Current driver license (Manual Vehicle).Capacity to undertake responsibilities in accordance with the ACCIONA Energía Safety Management System.Capacity to travel to various Wind Farms across Australia.Ability to maintain qualifications relevant to the industry, including:Electrical or Mechanical trade certificate.First Aid Level 2.Working at Heights.HV Operator under ACCIONA Energía Work Permitting system.
