About the role
Due to an increased demand of workload and rapid expansion of the business, they have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Sheetmetal / Fabricator to join this highly successful business that manufactures high-end custom-made timber stairs.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will include but not be limited to:
* Operate and maintain shearing, punching, and forming machines.
* Cut, form, and join sheet metal to fabricate parts.
* Inspect and check finished parts for quality.
* Install or repair products made from sheet metal.
* Read blueprints and drawings to determine the specific requirements of a job.
Skills & experience
* Formal qualifications in the trade and an apprenticeship in Australia
* At least 10 years experience in Sheetmetal / Fabrication
* MIG experience is essential but TIG as well
* You will need to be self-motivated and able to manage your time effectively to a high degree of detail and quality
* Previous experience working across a few different industries would be highly advantageous

This company provides stability and great working hours - Monday to Friday with the occasional weekend work and over time when needed! Everyone helps each other and they pitch in when needed. The hours for this role will predominantly be Monday to Friday from 7am - 3.30pm. Management is approachable and hands on and they have a very friendly team & great working environment.
