About You They are currently seeking multiple Lawyers that are professionals in personal injury and workers compensation law to join their expanding team in Norwest. These are permanent opportunities working 8:45am–5:15pm Monday to Friday with a 1hour lunch break. As a Lawyer, you will be required to represent plaintiff's, providing high-level Legal Services such as advice, transaction, litigation, research and support in complex areas of law across either Personal Injury or Workers Compensation Law, to ensure the provision of high quality, efficient and effective legal services on behalf of the organisation and its clients. Responsibilities Deliver high quality legal advice on Personal Injury or Workers Compensation Provide effective legal services including transactions or litigation in accordance with legislation, best practice and policy Establish and maintain effective, productive and professional stakeholder relationships Undertake legal and administrative matters Conduct litigation before Courts and Tribunals Interpret, analyse and prepare complex legal documentation including legal records, correspondence, legislation, court orders, policies, reports, submissions, contracts, deeds and briefs to counsel Complete interviews with clients Conduct in-depth legal research Manage and provide advice on the organisations arising matters to ensure effective service delivery Contribute to the development and review of legal standards, practices, policies, systems, procedures, manuals, precedents and processes Assist in the development of training to ensure high quality and effective professional services Facilitate responses to legal reviews, law reform, proposals and legal initiatives Respond to formal and informal requests for information including court subpoenas and applications under relevant legislation Accurately and contemporaneously record time spent on legal work and prepare invoices Ensure compliance with practice management standards About You Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills Ability to translate complex legal terminology into everyday language High attention to detail Superior organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines Highly motivated, detail orientated and outcomes focused Requirements Tertiary Law Qualifications Unrestricted Legal Practising Certificate and admission as a Solicitor of the NSW Supreme Court Previous experience representing plaintiff's Proven experience and knowledge in Personal Injury, WID, Workers Compensation and Occupiers Liability Law Experience in interpreting legislation, reviewing and negotiating contracts Flexibility to undertake occasional day travel Ability to commence ASAP How to Apply Applications will be reviewed within 48 hours of the job posting.
