Job Description
We seek an Assistant Manager Human Resources who will contribute to recruiting and developing our team and help shape our culture and workforce into the future.
The successful candidate will provide generalist HR advice and support, including advising management and other staff on matters such as recruitment, learning and development, establishment, induction, pay and leave management.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting in the development and implementation of HR strategies
* Undertaking projects and/or research and preparing a range of correspondence, submissions, briefings and reports in a timely manner
* Providing coaching and support to managers and assisting with the investigation and reporting of issues of a complex and/or sensitive nature
* Undertaking and administering the delivery of end-to-end recruitment services
* Managing a learning and development calendar to meet the annual needs of staff
Requirements
An understanding of the Tasmanian State Service and recent experience in learning and development, recruitment or generalist human resources will be highly regarded.
Degree or diploma in a relevant discipline is desirable, along with a driver's licence.
