About the role
The Construction Supervisor – Wamarra E&I will be responsible for design and construction planning for key deliverables associated with the implementation of construction tasks. Coordinating with the design team for planning and assisting the construction team for project delivery. This role reports to the Wamarra National Project Manager.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supervising, coordinating and planning tasks aligned with the project scopes
* Coordinating with the design team to deliver CSF, BES & Telepower designs
* Identifying electrical infrastructure
* Conducting power viability audits on targeted sites
* Negotiating pricing and contracts for procurement and contractors
* DNSP applications and coordinating
* Assisting the construction team to deliver a program of works
* Quality assurance inspections and checks
* Overseeing logistics for material procurement
* Project pre-delivery audits and inspections
* Progress reporting

About you:
* Minimum 3 years telco experience – knowledge of Telepower, electrical, generators, CSF & BES
* Driver License
* Knowledge of telecommunications exchanges preferred
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
* Available to travel to regional areas for projects
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Additional Qualifications (not essential but highly regarded):
* Electrical Licence
* White Card training
* RPAS / Drone experience
* Emergency First Aid / CPR
* Low voltage Release and Rescue
* Working at heights
* Elevated work platform license
* Forklift High risk license
