PSNMC provides services to support the Public Safety Network (PSN). The PSN includes seven agencies: Queensland Police Service, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, Queensland Ambulance Service, Justice and Attorney General, Queensland Corrective Services, Office of Industrial Relations and Inspector General Emergency Management. The PSNMC is critical to the efficient running of each agency's ICT networks across the broader PSN.

Your Key Accountabilities:
The core capability requirements for this role are:
1. Deliver “hands-on” technical expertise, advice and leadership to the implementation, administration, maintenance and support of information systems and services to meet the current and projected needs of the Public Safety Network Management Centre and its portfolio customers.
2. Lead the analysis and timely resolution of system issues, maintenance and lifecycle management within a complex ICT environment.
3. Build and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients and team members.
4. Co-ordinate and manage the identification, assessment and briefings to staff and management regarding new and emerging hardware, software and communication technologies, products, methods, techniques and services.
Role Requirements:
Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience:
5. Demonstrated experience and competency in a range of technical disciplines as specified below would be considered an advantage for this position.
6. Linux and Windows server administration.
7. Compute, storage, virtualisation and database technologies (HyperFlex, vSphere, PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL).
8. Knowledge and experience in the Atlassian suite of products.
9. Container management (Openshift / Docker).
10. Version controlling (GIT or Bitbucket)
11. Scripting and automation tools (Shell scripting, Powershell).
12. Compute, Storage and Virtualisation design, implementation, and management.
13. Developing as-built documentation, performance and capacity management.
